Tractors

A tractor is a motor vehicle, equipped with wheels or tracks, and performs three functions in agricultural work, rural or forest:

• traction is of trailers for transport either agricultural machinery such as plows, manure spreaders, sprayers, etc.. through drawbars or most often a three-point linkage;
• Support for accessories or machinery is installed at the front (forks, hydraulic excavators, rollers mulchers, etc..) or, most often on the back (plows, tedders, rotary harrows, shredders, etc..) , through lift arm;
• The animation of agricultural machinery with rotating parts or jacks, with a PTO generally located at the rear, or a hydraulic or pneumatic system.
